Dr. Lameck John Nyakweba is originally from Nyaramba, Nyamira County in Kenya. He began his college education in Luther College, Decorah Iowa in the United States. He holds bachelor of Chemistry degree from St. Cloud State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy – Glendale. Doctor Nyakweba has over 19 years of experience in pharmacy, ranging from retail, compounding, manufacturing and managed care. Apart from pharmacy, Lameck’s real passion is creating partnerships and networks to try improve healthcare in places that really need it. He served on the board of Phoenix Health Foundation and has been involved in helping create better health facilities in the counties of Kilifi and Kisii in Kenya.

Dr. Bahati Moseti is a respected Emergency Physician based in NSW, Australia, known for his expertise in Telemedicine and commitment to healthcare. As a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and a Clinical Consultant, he has revolutionized emergency care delivery, particularly in rural areas, using innovative solutions like Telehealth. Dr. Moseti's experience as a former Head of Department in Western Australia has provided him with a deep understanding of the complexities of emergency medicine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he demonstrated his selflessness by returning to Kenya to support the pandemic response. Driven by a passion for teaching, he actively mentors future Emergency Physicians in both Australia and Africa. Dr. Moseti is dedicated to applying his expertise and Telehealth solutions to improve healthcare access and outcomes in developing countries, with a special focus on Africa. His commitment and vision have made a significant impact in the field of Emergency Medicine.

AJ Thomas has over 20 years experience in architecture. He is currently the healthcare sector leader at Corgan. He has certifications in evidence-based design and healthcare architecture. AJ brings extensive experience in planning and designing various healthcare facilities, with a particular focus on hospitals, ambulatory care centers and specialty centers. He has a passion in giving back and contributing in any way he can to help humanity have better healthcare services.

Kaitlin holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville and holds CSW licensure in the state of Kentucky. She has practiced in the field of social work for over 15 years in both nonprofit and for-profit agencies and has experience at the micro- and macro-levels of practice. Kaitlin has long been an advocate for equitable access to healthcare and other resources that are necessary for individuals to fulfill their basic human needs. Through her work and volunteer opportunities, she seeks to promote the enhancement and development of people, their communities, and their environments.

Krista Wishmeier brings 20 plus years of knowledge in design and construction, with a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University. Her work with prefabricated construction methods over the past 15 years adds a unique perspective to bringing quality building methods to the Charles Onyari Nyakweba Foundation. She is passionate about travel, exploring other cultures, and so excited to engage in bringing a new emergency hospital to the village of Nyaramba.
